EASTHAM BOARD OF ASSESSORS
Minutes of July 17, 2008 Meeting
Meeting convened at 10:00 am.
Present: Assessors Sette, Avery, Cahill, Fagan, and Deputy Assessor Gail Fitzback
- The Board voted to accept the minutes of the March 12, 2008 meeting.
- The Board signed the FY09 warrants for Barnstable County and the Cape Cod Commission.
- Gail reviewed the pending cases at the Appellate Tax Board which will be heard on July 22, 2008. The Board agreed unanimously to proceed with all the cases.
- Gail discussed the schedule for the Interim Year Adjustments and Classification Hearing. The tentative date for the Classification Hearing with the Board of Selectmen is Tuesday, September 2, 2008.
- The Department of Revenue will be offering Course 101 at Barnstable High School from October 7th through November 18th for six (6) Tuesdays excluding November 4th . Doreen and Maureen expressed interest in taking it at that time.
